Theyo

We at Theyo have specialized in the production and curation of chocolate products made from traceable and transparently traded fine flavor cocoa. Each cacao bean has a unique flavor profile that is influenced by climate, soil and farm management. We love these original flavors and try to bring them out in all our products. No artificial flavors and additives, no frills, but with fair and sustainable supply chains!

Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is definitely a rising star when it comes to the cocoa trade: in the last 10 years alone, cocoa exports there have exploded by 322%. The exciting thing is that experts classify almost half of them as fine flavor cocoa. In addition, most farmers shine with sustainable cultivation and fair working conditions on their cocoa plantations. The knowledge about the positive effect of these principles is widely shared in the numerous cooperations. With the help of these, the farmers can also achieve higher prices for their cocoa together. A great development! And an example that economic growth is possible and desirable, especially in the area of sustainable cocoa cultivation.
