🎁 WHAT'S INSIDE?
Our chocolate gift for Women's Day on March 8th is filled with the finest fine chocolate products. The gift box only contains products that are made by women or where women are active in particularly important and equal roles in the supply chain.
🍫 EMBRACE EQUALITY
In line with this year's IWD motto "Embrace Equality", we focused on products in which women were involved on an equal footing, from farm management to fermentation and chocolate production. This means that we looked for chocolates on International Women's Day, where women were primarily equally involved in decision-making processes and/or received fair (equal) remuneration for their activities. To raise awareness of this year's IWD motto, here is a small excerpt of the campaign text:
"Equality means creating an inclusive world, and we can all play a role in making it happen. Each of us can actively advocate for and promote equality in our sphere of influence. We can all challenge gender stereotypes, denounce discrimination, challenge prejudice raise awareness and advocate for inclusion. Collective activism is the engine for change. We can all advocate for equality, from the grassroots work to a far-reaching dynamic." (IWD ( Aurora Ventures) 2023)

THE WOMEN'S DAY CHOCOLATE TASTING: HOW IT WORKS
1.📦 You buy the gift box offered here for Women's Day and choose the option "with online tasting".
2. 👩🏻💻 There is automatically a reservation for a “place” per box in the digital chocolate tasting on International Women’s Day (ergo on March 8th, 2023).
3. 🗓️ Dial in via Google Hangout at 7 p.m. on the day of the event. The dial-in link and further information will follow by email about a week before the tasting date. Be sure to also check your spam folder after booking, in case our email doesn't end up in your normal inbox.
4. 🍫 Discover, learn and enjoy a nice chocolaty moment with us - comfortably from the sofa and let's make International Women's Day a chocolaty highlight together!

You want to taste your chocolate like real chocolate experts? Here we go! Here are our tasting tips:
Tasting preparation:
Ideally, you should make sure that your chocolate and any pairing drinks are brought to room temperature before the tasting. Are you trying the chocolate with several people? So that the others are not initially influenced by the pretty packaging, it is best to unpack the chocolates beforehand and break them into small pieces.
Smaller pieces of around 5g per person are ideal, we recommend 2 small pieces per person. So you can “taste” it again.
If you want to take a more professional approach, you can also have a pen and paper ready to jot down impressions.
You try several chocolates one after the other? Then only glasses and water are missing for the perfect tasting happiness ;-). You use the water to neutralize between the taste buds. It should not be too cold, otherwise the mouth will cool down and the next chocolate may melt more slowly. If you like, you can add a splash of apple cider vinegar to the water. According to bean-to-bar pioneer Zotter, this cleans the taste buds on the tongue particularly well. By the way: even if you only try one fine chocolate, you can still do a mini tasting. Take your favorite chocolates from the supermarket and see where the differences lie. This is exciting both in terms of taste but also in terms of the ingredients and information that the manufacturers provide you with.
